Mark E. Foster
South Lyon, Michigan
Mr. Foster is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years of experience in design, quality, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). He is currently the President of Applied Geometrics, Inc. AGI is a technical education and mentoring firm dedicated to providing support and high quality education and training services that improve a company’s competitive position, and profitability.
Mark is a member of the ASME Y14.2 committee and participates regularly in the ASME Y14 meetings throughout the country. Mark has held Management positions in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design Engineering and is the chief instructor for AGI. He has provided GD&T training for hundreds of individuals and companies, such as Harley-Davidson, Delco Electronics (Delphi), Nissan, Briggs & Stratton, Woodward Governor Company, Dart Container Corporation, Skil-Bosch Power Tools and more, in GD&T, SPC, ISO/QS-9000, and Print Reading, as well as Train-the-trainer classes.
Mark was a charter member of the Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Professional (GDTP) Senior Level examination. He passed the first ever GDTP Senior Level exam administered by the ASME, and is Senior Level Certified (GDTP #S-0114) to the ASME-Y14.5M-1994 standard.
Unlike many GD&T instructors, Mark has actually applied his training to real-world designs on a regular basis during his extensive experience from the design, manufacturing and quality perspectives. This experience and ongoing practical application provides him with the unique ability to relate the common problems that inevitably arise between these groups during the production of a part.
Jaime G. Dadez
Mr. Dadez is mechanical design engineering expert with over 35 years of experience in designing with GD&T. He is currently a full-time mentor and instructor with AGI.
Jaime has a wide variety of real-world design and manufacturing experience. He worked as a designer for Woodward Governor Company and for Eclipse Combustion, Inc. He has been in charge of test engineer functions and research and development projects at both of those companies.
Jaime has provided training in Print Reading and GD&T to hundreds of engineers, designers, manufacturers and inspectors.
Jaime is also a member of the ASME Y14.2 committee and participates regularly in the ASME Y14 meetings as well. : Jaime is Senior Level Certified (GDTP #S-0332) to the ASME-Y14.5M-1994 standard.
Mr. Ortiz has been a quality supervisor and CMM programmer/operator with over 10 years of experience in industry. Recently he joined the AGI team as a bilingual (Spanish/English) instructor.
Manuel was born in Mexico, but has lived in the U.S.A. since he was eight years old and is a US Citizen. He has taught English in Mexico. He attended McHenry County College and has an Associate of Science degree. He is also certified in GD&T at the Senior level. (GDTP-S5249)
Señor Ortiz served as the president of the Latinos Unidos at McHenry, the largest Latino organization on its campus. He also served as president of the Campus Activities Board while there. His hobbies include writing and directing. He is translating our GD&T training materials into Spanish and will instruct both English and Spanish classes.
Mr. Rodericks is a mechanical design engineering expert with over 20 years of experience designing space flight hardware and ground support equipment at Kennedy Space Center in Florida and Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL. Frank is an expert at implementing GD&T in both the PTC CREO and Solidworks software platforms, manufacturing of the associated hardware, as well as the ISO 9001 requirements for Quality Assurance. He has instructed the topic at KSC and throughout Florida’s Space Coast for many years and has provided training to engineers, designers, machinist and quality control personnel. Frank regularly participates in ASME Y14 committee meetings, is Senior Level Certified (GDTP #S-3042) and is currently a full-time mentor and instructor with AGI.

Mr. Tworek is the Vice-President of Applied Geometrics; Inc. with decades of experience in engineering and corporate management.
