About Us
Applied Geometrics, Inc. is committed to train manufacturing industry's personnel how to realize a higher return on investment by utilizing a standardized, concise and internationally accepted language of engineering expression. Below are profiles of each of AGI’s presenters and staff. Consider us a resource. Mark E. Foster

Mr. Foster is a mechanical engineer with over 25 years of experience in design, quality, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). He is currently the President of Applied Geometrics, Inc. AGI is a technical education and mentoring firm dedicated to providing support and high quality education and training services that improve a company's competitive position, and profitability.
Mark is a member of the ASME Y14.2 committee and participates regularly in the ASME Y14 meetings throughout the country. Mark has held Management positions in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design Engineering and is the chief instructor for AGI. He has provided GD&T training for hundreds of individuals and companies, such as Harley-Davidson, Delco Electronics (Delphi), Nissan, Briggs & Stratton, Woodward Governor Company, Dart Container Corporation, Skil-Bosch Power Tools and more, in GD&T, SPC, ISO/QS-9000, and Print Reading, as well as Train-the-trainer classes.
Mark was a charter member of the Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Professional (GDTP) Senior Level examination. He passed the first ever GDTP Senior Level exam administered by the ASME, and is Senior Level Certified (GDTP #S-0114) to the ASME-Y14.5M-1994 standard.
Unlike many GD&T instructors, Mark has actually applied his training to real-world designs on a regular basis during his extensive experience from the design, manufacturing and quality perspectives. This experience and ongoing practical application provides him with the unique ability to relate the common problems that inevitably arise between these groups during the production of a part.

Mr. Dadez is mechanical design engineering expert with over 30 years of experience in designing with GD&T. He is currently a full-time mentor and instructor with AGI.
Jaime has a wide variety of real-world design and manufacturing experience. He worked as a designer for Woodward Governor Company and for Eclipse Combustion, Inc. He has been in charge of test engineer functions and research and development projects at both of those companies.
Jaime has provided training in Print Reading and GD&T to hundreds of engineers, designers, manufacturers and inspectors.
Jaime is also a member of the ASME Y14.2 committee and participates regularly in the ASME Y14 meetings as well. : Jaime is Senior Level Certified (GDTP #S-0332) to the ASME-Y14.5M-1994 standard.

Mr. Crawford is a designer and inventor with over 30 years mechanical design and engineering experience with product development in aerospace, automotive, military, yacht, and medical industries with companies such as Northrop, ALCOA, Johnson & Johnson, and entrepreneurs.
His most recent 10 years of experience includes not only full time application of GD&T, but also includes extensive 3D tolerance analysis and being an early pioneer for 3D CAD Model annotation that sparked the development of the ASME Y14.41 standard for 3D Digital Product Definition. After years of public presentations, many consider Norm a visionary in combining his GD&T, CAD, Tolerance Analysis, Global Collaboration and PDM skills into new innovative product development processes.
Through out his experience, Norm has maintained his GD&T knowledge with professional training in the ANSI Y14.5 1973, 1982, and ASME Y14.5M 1994 standards as well as advanced training in tolerance stack analysis and functional gauge design. Norm is a former student of AGI having attended several AGI courses. He is an ASME Senior Level Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Professional (GDTP S-0386) and has a CMII certification for Configuration Management from ICM (Institute of Configuration Management).
